Hi folks!

My first post here, so I just wanted to say hello and pop up some pictures of a project I've been working on recently. Hope people like them, be great to hear any questions or feedback!

Blood Angels Army Commission Project

Command Squad - did a freehand banner for these guys, devised based on the artwork in the BA codex

Tactical Marines

Terminators

Devastators

Assault Marines

Sanguinary Guard

Dreadnought

Vanguard Veterans

Sternguard Veterans

Chaplain Dreadnought - this dude was to be painted to a higher standard than the rest of the army; I particularly enjoyed making the base

Wow, this is so awesome!!!!

Great looking army. The subtle battle damage is really well done.

Great looking army. The only nitpick I'd have is the BA Dreadnought. The chest piece looks very bland. I'd add at least a BA symbol on one side just to break up the large swathe of red on the model.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

I really like your paint chipping effects on the BA dreadnaught and drop pods, nice effects

Wow, that looks impressing. The Chappy dred is really good! He's full of details like the cracked stone wings or the splitted skull.

Very nice indeed, though I do have two small nitpicks -

1) You've left off the identifying markings that the BA use instead of squad numbers for Tac, Assault and Dev squads.
2) The Sergeants are painted the same as their squad members rather than having the black shoulder pads illustrated in the codex.

Like I said, small nitpicks, but other than that you've done a stirling job, sir

Beautifully painted army. Extra points for the old-school Command Squad, metal dread and termies. Wished I had never sold mine

This is great work! Keep it up!

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

Thanks a lot guys!

re: the Dread looking a little plain, that's a good shout, I'd probably go back and add some decals in hindsight.

Good call on the markings and the sergeant shoulder pads! Something to think about for next time...
