I'm about to get a new army and can't decide between the two. I know legion is just all around powerful and bit tad bit too powered as well but I dig Lylith and absylonia as well as the ninja twins. But Circle's style of speed and stealth is something I've been wanting to try but never really try. The issue is I usually play all armies when it comes to WarMachine. Though I mainly play Cryx and Khador and a bit of menoth.

If you like Legion, play Legion. It sounds like you will get around to Circle
anyway.

Also, on the surface Circle APPEARS to play like Cryx, but actually doesn't. They lack the resiliency through numbers that Cryx has, and without Arcnodes (besides the Barknode, of course) debuffs, and plentiful weapon masters, you really need to take a hit and run, manuver with terrain approach to the game. Too many models (or, yknow, entire factions [glares are Everblight]) ignore stealth, concealment, or Line of Sight, which is what Circle relies on for its primary advanages along with speed and threat ranges.

I tried playing Circle like I played Cryx, and it was a hard transition for me to make.

6th edition lands on June 23rd!

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

Well, we have the TreeNode now, which is a FANTASTIC model.

But yea, Circle relies on a lot on crazy movement tricks, a few armor crushing beasts and synergy. Legion seems to play a little more straight forward from what I have seen, more of a glass fist in an iron glove. Then again, that might just be the folks that play it around here.
