Sup guys, just thought I'd pop a small dakka blog up on the two new chaos engines

Just finished gluing them up

First up is my Forgefiend, aptly named Broctipus as my friend said its a love child of a Bromak (from gears of war) and an octopus






Next up is my heldrake, yeah I might seem mad for sticking the two hades cannons on the wings but you know what? PFFT IDC!!!

Done part of the armour trim today, just thought I'd throw a pic up for you all to ganders at



Thought I would save the large wings as I will probably get that done faster and will enjoy it more

The dragon is looking really nice so far.

Update on current standings with Heldrake, trim taking me longer than I thought however the topside is done

I'm liking the autocannons on the wings. Out of curiosity, can the helldrake only be assembled in that way? Head looking down to one side, wings in a "hugging" way?

Awesome! I have these tow models in the mail and can't wait for it. I'm also an avid nurgle player and I'm glad I got to see a decent paintjob w/ the Heldrake that wasn't blue!

The wings are in their "locked" position however the head is not as what the instruction book says, you're meant to have it the other way, I merely wanted my drake to be appearing to be breathing fire down or about to be readying some flame for the poor saps below it! The autocannons were off the forge fiend, I just thought it would look cool, also would give me the option to swap weapon types on a per match basis

Finally finished the drake off today (the model anyway, the base I wanna do something special with so it's gunna have to go on hold) so without anymore time wasting here you go!

UPDATE TIME!

Hey guys, I've finally started work on my newest pet, the Chaos Forgefiend! Only a few basics done at the moment but keep following for more updates as the week goes on!

Here it is with the necron compound drybrush on all the bits i wanna look bare metal...



And this is the Death World Forest base on the blocks of armour, this paint is kinda making me a little famous lol...

Word up Dakka! Update time!

So I've been working on the Fiend for a couple of hours now and after watching too much Forward unto Dawn (new halo live action) I've gotta go play me some halo!
In the meantime tho here's some pics updating you with my current progress:



I decided on green Plasma coils as I felt that fitted my army the best, I'm calling them Plague Cannons, they fire Balls of bile and pus that explode on impact, spreading to any fool close enough to the target.




Thanks for looking, any CC is more than welcome at this early stage of the game, do note that I have put a glaze of waywatcher green over the plague cannons now tho.
