I've been thinking, for a while, of a project I want to do for my DA successors is to model up a 'counts as' Belial/Termie Captain. The concept being that the successor chapter I am assembling was gifted some terminator armor relics during the 2nd Founding to help them establish themselves (and that their first Chapter Master was a member of the original Legion's terminator chapter). Since then, of course, most have been lost but the most ancient and holy armors remain in the hands of the chapter's Inner Circle and Deathwing.

With the Horus Heresy stuff coming out and Forgeworld now having the Cataphractii terminators available for purchase, I was wondering what would be the best path of converting him by adding a few DA specific iconography onto him and working at him with some green stuff for robes. I'd like to try my hand at magnetizing the arms to swap lightning claws (which I love the look of the pre-heresy ones) and SS/TH.

Question really being... is it worth the money + shipping to get a full set of the terminators and special weapons just to convert one captain/character model?

Personally, I like the conversions of the astral lions character with 2x claws as a counts as belial with lightning claws and lion shoulder and deathwing.

I've been thinking on that as well. They'd definitely be flavorable and a scary looking unit out on the field. I love how the Cataphractii look.
