I am having a small 500 point battle with several armies. Thee will be eldar, tau, marines, tyranids, gaurd, and chaos. My crons loan to win with alarge amount of wounds to be annoying. My overlord should have only a warscythe.

Take out the scarabs and add Sempiternal Weave, Mindshackle scarabs, and CCB on your overlord. Scarabs aren't that good anymore, you can just glance any vehicle to death with gauss weapons and scarabs tend to die easily to str 6 weapons.

In low point games your CCB will be devastating. Hammer of wrath, MSS and the sweep attacks will put the hurt on any enemy unit.

The annihilation barges are going to be terrifying to face against. You should do well this list.

With this list you should do well against w/e army you face.

My scarabs in my lists are meant to reduce all armor on tanks so that Gauss can penetrate the vehicle. The list you could do is..

Wraiths!
They are better in high point battles. They are easy to pick off in range. The tau ail wipe them out first turn. The wraiths could.make it to combat but then die because of their small numbers. If I had a support weapon like a doomsday ark with wraiths they wouldn't have to worry about big guns.

The minimum amount of wraiths you can take is 3 btw.

Also, you don't need scarabs to wreck a vehicle you always glance on 6's with guass weapons.

The minimum is 1 in the codex for wraiths. Scarabs are my annoying wounds meant to die in cc once they have done their purpose. In this battle only small tanks are allowed. No larger than a predetor. Chimeras work and annihilation barges wiring. There are no tanks that have template weapons. Marines are using an assault on black reach and the battle in now moved up to 600. An extra 100 points to mess with!

Like this one alot.
However, scarabs die pretty damn quick now.
Could be worth spending those points on more warriors for cheap glancing hits or, if you want to be cruel, a 3rd anni barge.

Yeah you don't need scarabs they are too weak now. Just take a 3rd annihilation barge. Its sick nasty.

and the barge will kill large tanks. On predetors that will be harder. Chimeras are going to be easy to make go boom.

scarabs arn't all that bad. they can make all armor on tanks lower with enthropic strike. The AB thing is the better option. I myself HATE when scarabs attack your big vehicles. they bring the armor down so that a bold pistol can penetrate on a 2!
