This army has lots of infantry (mainly because tanks are so damn expensive) and I was wondering what Dakka's thoughts are on it. There's no point value I'm going for and it doesn't need to be a top tier competitive army, this is just what I think is the best I can do with my collection. I have all the special weapons options for nearly all of my units, though only 2 heavy bolters. HQ- Khorne Lord w/ Jump Pack, Axe of Blind Fury, Aura, Gift, and Meltas -155 Warpsmith w/ Gift -120 Troops- 10 Marines w/ 2 Plasma Guns, CC Weapons, MoN, Powerfist, Gift, and Icon of Despair -263 10 Marines w/ 2 Plasma Guns, Plasma Pistol, Power Sword, Gift, Icon of Vengeance -235 10 Marines w/ 2 Plasma Guns, Plasma Pistol, Power Sword, Gift, Icon of Vengeance -235 10 Marines w/ Plasma Pistol, Power Sword, Gift, 2 Plasma Pistols, CC Weapons instead of Bolters, MoS, and Icon of Excess -260 10 Berzerkers w/ Powerfist, Gift, and Icon of Wrath -250 10 Berzerkers w/ Powerfist, Gift, and Icon of Wrath -250 Elites- 5 Terminators w/ MoK, 5 Pairs of LC, Gift, and Icon of Wrath -242 Land Raider Dedicated Transport (used by Berzerkers) w/ Dirge Caster and Warpflame Gargoyles -240 10 Choesn w/ 5 Meltaguns, Powerfist, Gift, and Icon of Vengeance -290 Helbrute -105 Fast Attack- 8 Raptors w/ Pair of LC, Gift, 2 Meltaguns, MoK, and Icon of Wrath -237 Heavy Support- Land Raider (used by Berzerkers) w/ Dirge Caster and Warpflame Gargoyles -240 Forgefind w/ 3 Ectoplasma Cannons -200 3 Obliterators w/ MoN -228 I form a loose gunline with the Plasma Gun squads, the Obliterators, the Forgefiend, and the Land Raiders that can put out 14 plasma shots and 6 plasma blast. The Land Raiders focus on enemy armour, but the Soul Blaze from the Gargoyles makes them a little better against infantry. The Berzerkers ride in the Land Raiders to counter attack anything that reaches my line. The Lord goes with the Raptors who, along with the Terminators, Deep Strike in to cause some havoc behind enemy lines. The Chosen are my dedicated tank hunters and the Slaanesh squad is very durable and hard hitting so it usually leaves the group and tries to push a weak spot in the enemy. The Warpsmith and Helbrute rarely get used but they usually just hang back with the group and do their thing
