Do CSM Special Character Warlords with a set Warlord Trait roll on another power when you begin a game, or does that power take place of their randomly generated power? Furthermore, a named HQ that says he has one of the CSM codex Warlord traits only has it if he is your warlord, right? If I nominate a different HQ as my Warlord, who will either roll on a table or has a set trait, does the 2nd HQ still have his set Warlord Trait, as the codex says the model has the Warlord Trait?

I really can't tell if the set ones are meant as character buffs in addition to anything else you might roll, or if they replace those powers.

One warlord only, so only the warlord trait that you get is for the warlord you pick.

P110 of the rulebook says that you roll for special characters unless their profile specifically notes that they have a fixed warlord trait.
So if you have a special character with a listed trait no roles on the BRB or chaos tables for you.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

what if you ahve 2 SC with warlord traits

Huron and Typhus? which one gets the nod. I would imagine the wording on Abby is that he MUST be your warlord but not sure.

The one you pick to be your warlord, oddly enough.

The rules for warlords specifies that you pick when you have equal Ld values to pick from.

Lol

I posted in a thread about this question a week ago and could never be bothered to look 2-3" to the left to page 110.

I commend your skillz, sir.

I think I saw that thread but it was late and the book was more than the length of my arm away.
