Given all the complaints in other threads about online stores not following through, I thought I'd just report on my experiences with Firestorm Games in the UK. I saw them recommended in one of the aforementioned threads, and with other options that I've been loyal to for years no longer viable, I thought I'd give these guys a go - spurred on by the free shipping to RoW. I've placed a couple of orders so far, one smaller order for 5 Warlord Games boxed sets and a couple of inks, and a larger order for a ton of Vallejo Model Air paints. Both came pretty quickly with no issues - stock from both orders was out of stock but getting them in and dispatched only took a couple of days each time. Above that was the service, however. I spoke to Rob before my first order just to clarify their policies and he was great, and they actually emailed me and replied to my emails when they had to tell me the stuff was out of stock and when I had followup questions.

So, FWIW and for non-GW stuff (which they also can't ship to us Oztraylians) I've got no qualms about recommending these guys.

Seconding this. I haven't had an order that they haven't got out in good time (well, apart from a book where the actual release was unexpectedly delayed due to the publishers' warehouse flooding), and their customer service has been excellent with no quibbles about returns or replacements, or contacting the manufacturer to get a missing bit dispatched to me.

"The 75mm gun is firing. The 37mm gun is firing, but is traversed round the wrong way. The Browning is jammed. I am saying "Driver, advance." and the driver, who can't hear me, is reversing. And as I look over the top of the turret and see twelve enemy tanks fifty yards away, someone hands me a cheese sandwich."

I've never ordered from them online but every time I have been in the staff have been friendly and helpful.

I placed another order with these guys before I went to bed last night. This morning I've gotten up and it's been shipped. While these guys are probably a lot smaller than some others are or have been, it's still pretty bloody good. There's a place on the other side of my own city that's also a pretty small place who take a week and a half to ship orders...
