I've been watching some stand-up though you-tube, I'm not usually a big fan of stand-up but I really like Louis CK's and Ricky Gervais's routines, anyways I would like to find more good stand-up comedians so I was wondering if any of you have suggestions.

Dara O'Brien is a good one, as is Ed Byrne, both Irish comedians, both very funny... Also the quick stand-up routines on Mock the Week are usually hilarious.

Andrew Dice Clay!!? Are you fething serious? He's probably the worst stand-up I've ever heard.

For my money, the best American stand-up currently working is this guy:

My current favourite though, is this chap:

I used to like Eddie Izzard. He just doesn't make me laugh these days.

Oh, I almost forgot - Micky Flanagan. Now, he is so cockney that he could almost be speaking a foreign language, but he is very, very funny indeed>

CAUTION: This clip is probably the least safe for work of anything I have ever posted. VERY STRONG LANGUAGE!

I was just going to suggest Gabriel Iglesias, and Ralphie May.... Both are huge fat feths, but they are both really funny, IMO.

Of course, most of my list is already present, but obviously, there's only a relative handful of actually really funny comedians currently out there.

I wish I had 2 more thumbs so I could give that 4 thumbs down...My favorite lines come from that episode. But in general my favorite line from that entire show was a lost episode. "B you thought I was gonna leave my wife? Hells no B I'm happy as hell...

Richard Pryor, and the early Eddie Murphy shows are great. I only like Black comedians, because oddly, I find more in common with them than white comics who aren't Jewish, Italian, or another New York city minority.
