1) I like the fighting lord. I like Heroism, with Sword of Swiftness and Gauntlet of the Duel and Armor of Aguiluf (WS10). ASF with WS10 is pretty awesome. Heroic killing blow, and you cannot refuse is super awesome.
2) I'd drop the chalice and the potion of toughness for the Crown of Command. Having a wizard in the 2nd rank give stubborn is freak'n awesome. You can't hit her, and she makes the whole unit stubborn. Get her a horse.
3) I'd drop the feedback Damsel. Your main caster will be burning through most/all your power dice, you've got a back up with beast, not much need for a 2nd back up.
4) Questing Knights! Love it. You'll need life magic to keep them in the fight, but with life magic, they will grind like no other unit. I'd find the points to bump to 12. You'll want the extra attacks. Put the Profitess in here for profit.
5) Add a 4th peg knight. 3 just doesn't quite get it done. I find 3 I can handle and 4 causes trouble.

So to sum up, drop damsel for points, and drop fast cav for more points as needed. Use the stubborn great weapons as a hammer, and the general with a big unit of knights as the 2nd hammer. Use magic to Buff Questing knights, as T3 3+ armor and blessing doesn't hold up great. +2 toughness is all it takes to make them rock stars.

I've tried that lord build a few times, however the guantlet I don't find all that useful as he's typically fighting monsters the few times I ran it I got suckered into challengrs with TK unit champs who kept coming back.

Potion of toughness isn't needed thinking about it as I decided to go with life for a change(usually go Heavens) so got a few more bowmen there.

I don't like the stubborn item or running my level 4 in with the knights, while good the item doesn't reaaly promote tctical play.

Questing Knights go 5 wide and have a character in the unit toqximise attacks, lance formation doesn't give them all that greater benefits tbh.

I don't agree with the 4th pegasus knight commnt, essentially your paying points for the same number of wounds to be lost to.force a panic test

The challenging lord is really great, but I dont really see giving him questing vow. I just don't see a use for questing knights atm, since they always strike last and fail armour 33% of the time and are wounded 50% of successful hits. Shooting scrubs can make them heavily limited before they get to fight.

I'd lose the potion of toughness like you said. If you are concerned with her safety I'd give her a horse and put her in with KotR, crown of command is also a cool idea but depends on how you want to go with it.

As far as pegasus knights go I like to run 6, but honestly if you need more than 3 you are doing something wrong they are fairly durable and I have not had problems with them being charged or shot down. Also like you stated 4 is 55 points for panic at the same proportion. I just like to run 6, because once I get behind the opponents line I can run around and charge from one target to the next, claiming points on warmachines or archers that with other armies that I play, I normally won't get. Since for some reason I tend be be amazing at rolling 1's and 2's.

Lastly Yeomen with the list you have I rather like since they can protect the questing knights a bit, personally I preffer to just go with a few more archers if you want the shooting since they have a longer range and I tend to keep my archers safe the entire battle. Sure you can't charge block and run around and flee to be annoying but most of the time with large amounts of Cav you can dictate CC.

To clarify though I tend to use more pegasus since I rarely use Yeomen and I do not use Questing Knights. Overall this list can be very competitive.

10k+ High Elf
6.5k Dwarf
7k Original Chaos Dwarf (not the crappy forge world)
6k Bretonnia
7k Wood Elf
6k Dark Elf
8k Tomb Kings
5k Beastmen
5k Lizardmen
7k Daemons of Chaos (roughly 2.5k all but Tzeentch, I find them useless in 8th other than flamers and heralds)
5.5k Empire
