i wanted to make a blue tinted dark silver metal paint. any ideas? or is there already a paint out there? i was just thinking to mix some type of blue paint in with the metal paint. ratio that works?

same thing with a darker than boltgun metal(leadbelcher) metal. anything already exsist or i can mix? im thinking of just adding some black to the leadbelcher paint. ratio that works?

That works fine.

I would look into some other brands of paint as well. Vallejo Model Air Black Metal is an awesome color too. They also make a blue metallic color and a metallic additive that you can add to any color.

When adding colours to your metallics just do a very small amount at a time until you get the desired colour. Start with an amount of metallic you will need for the job at hand (or more if you are storing it for future), and add a couple drops of the non-metallic colour at a time mixing well.

Otherwise, that works perfectly for making "coloured" metallics.
