Hello all,
as you may or may not know I'm currently working on a roman themed necron army, but I don't know what kind of list I should use. the only idea I've had so far was to have a mix of warriors on foot (the Hastati) with immortals (the principes) also on foot backing them up followed by lichguard (the triarii) to finish them off. I'd include some scarabs for the velites but I'm not even sure this build would even be effective. does anyone know of a good way to build a roman themed list that would also be effective? because that would be really helpful.

Why use necrons to do a roman theme? Seems significantly harder to do/model?

IF you're doing a specific theme and choosing army to fit, marines would probably a better option.

If you like the cron rules and want to do romans, just do what you like and convert
