I know this forum is mostly for Warhammer but I see a fair few mini's posted from other companies. Though I have plenty of Warhammer and 40k mini's lately I've been really getting into other stuff, so my latest thing so far is my legion warband. Haven't finished any of the units yet, but my warlocks and beasts are done:

Appreciate any feedback.

Imprisoned in stone, Canterlot Gardens.

The stone is certainly impressive, as is the pallid flesh. I like them a lot!

Nice job, like the blighted flesh on all of them.

I play warhammer 40k and fantasy so I don't know much about the fluff for these guys but they are great. Well done. I like the stone like effect they have on, (what I think are), scales.

Another update, top is a character unit attachment called Bayal the Hound, underneath is another Warlock called Ryhas. I need more beasties, I'm not 100% sure on the anatomy of the creatures but I look at the brown areas as just a hard chitin area.

Great paint job!!! I think that the white lines on the bases distract from the overall excellent work you have done. What are they for?

Just forgot what I was going to say.

Wow, I don't know much about warmachine/hordes. However those are some very nicely painted models, and make me very tempted to try playing

@Battlematt the white lines on the bases are for the gameplay purposes, your mini's facing is a big factor since you can only make certain actions from your front arc, you get free strikes if people pass your field of vision and you give away a back strike bonus to those activating behind you. The markers aren't necessary, but it keeps the rules consistent on my models so it's fairer to my oponents, while with others there's a lot of guesswork as to what you consider their front arc.

@tuiman you should totally play, I've never encounted a game system I've loved so much, so many tactical decisions and the best part is, you'll only ever need 5 dice maximum

Anyhow, continued my painting, I've finished my unit of 10 Hex Hunters but I haven't taken photo's, so I should get on that.

But my latest model, and I've been looking forward to painting these guys, rather than batch painting all 5 I just had to rush to finish one, here's an Incubi.

How these work, essentially if one my small based units die, I can then replace them with one of these. Makes the enemies decision to kill my unit questionable because these things can hit quite hard and act independant from the unit causing havoc.

Terrible photo so I will update with another but here's the unit of 10 Hex Hunters. Finished up a unit of 5 Ogruns too but once again I need to take photos and they're currently at my local store.

Wow!! That Incubi is amazing! I love the blood trails from the mouths and the visceral look of the muscle tissue under the skin. Makes me want to get some for my Legion army. Great job!

Haha the incubi are easily my favourite models. Rather than doing them in a batch, going at them one at a time. Not as happy with this guy, but it looks better in person than this photo,.. I'll have to take some better pictures in daylight sometime

Your Legion of Everblight are great!

Only thing I would change would be the Camera. It really doesn't do justice to your hex hunters.

Keep up the awesome work!

Yeah, I'm taking photo's on my phone in my bedroom with a terribly yellow light (having to hold the mini's up on the cutting mat) probably doesn't help at all.

I'll take a photo of my entire army this weekend at the store on a proper gaming table in natural light, since I'm just about finished now. Love the incubi models, and all 5 are finished now, so that's fun.

Thanks for the kind words

Incoming flood of pictures. Sorry for the ones out of focus, and the variously different sizes (Puush screen grabs) was again with my phone in the shop. Lighting should be better though.

Ogrun Warspears:

Hex Hunters finished:

Incubi finished:

one of my favourite ones, crying blood

Shepard (sorry this one is really out of focus, those durn trees)

Forsaken (not a big fan of this model but it plays well so had to be finished)
