alright so I'm building a pirate necron army, and every army starts with a list. here's what I've got so far:
HQ
Captain Jack Teach (overlord): warscythe, sempertinal weave, mindshackle scarabs, catacomb command barge: 210
Ann the siren (destroyer lord): warcythe, sempertinal weave, mindshackle scarabs: 155
"the below deck crew" (royal court): 4x harbingers of desruction: 140
TROOPS
"Rackham's raiders" (9 warriors in ghost ark): 232
"mess #5" (9 warriors in ghost ark): 232
"the keel haulers" (9 warriors in ghost ark): 232
"the tell no tales brigade" (9 warriors in ghost ark): 232
FAST ATTACK:
"the siren's choir (5 wraiths): 3x whip coils: 205
HEAVY SUPPORT
"ol' thumper" (annihilation barge)
"smokey Joe" (annihilation barge)
"the commodore" (doomsday cannon)
as always C&C are very welcome.

Personally whenever I run ghost arks, especially with only 1 court, I prefer harbingers of the storm over destruction. They are more reliable for taking on vehicles and the range works in better synergy with the arks. Plus against 2+ saves they don't lose too much effectiveness, the only downside is they are worse against high toughness models.
Plus it would free up about 40 points for you which you could use to get another wraith.

Pretty sure your DLord is 5 points too cheap as MSS on the DLord is 20 points.
This is the kind of list that just screams for a Stalker if you can find the room as you have a lot of Gauss fire/doomsday arc that could be twinlinked, not too mention a lot of AV13.

@ ShadarLogoth: you're right, I was mostly working the list from memory of the codex while I was waiting for class to start. also I've added a stalker in called "crustasius maximus" (may change the name to actual latin, we'll see)
@ Punisher: you know harbingers of storm would actually be a bit more fluffier in a pirate list (pirates, sailors, storms, it all works) and I've replaced them.
here's the list as it stands:
HQ
Captain Jack Teach (overlord): warscythe, sempertinal weave, mindshackle scarabs, catacomb command barge: 210
Ann the siren (destroyer lord): warcythe, sempertinal weave, mindshackle scarabs: 160
"the below deck crew" (royal court): 4x harbingers of the storm: 100
ELITES
"Crustacius Maximus" (triarch stalker)
"the siren's choir (7 wraiths): 3x whip coils: 275
HEAVY SUPPORT
"the commodore" (doomsday cannon)

Pyro Pilot of a Triach Stalker
Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
|
Wraiths come to a max of 6 per squad
I'd drop the stalker, and go back to the A-barges for sure
|
Bedouin Dynasty: 10000 pts
The Silver Lances: 4000 pts
The Custodes Winter Watch 4000 pts

Whops my bad. once again making this list from memory because there's barely enough room in my backpack for my textbooks, and definitely not for my codex.
