I am looking for a model of a female body so i can make a sort of genestealer highbrid.
I want to put carapace down the back and on the shoulders etc an replace the hand with scything talons or claws
any links of ideas on how to do this would be appreciated

Reaper miniatures do armatures for this purpose.
Hasslefree (I think) also do them.
Try there.

Hasslefree now have 2 female armatures. Alternatively the DE females would probably make a good base. Even their normal armour looks a bit chitiny.

You could try the Daemonettes too. They're plastic so lend themselves to conversion well, and they have animalistic legs and claw hands that likely could be changed to talons easily.

Echo the comments re: DE.
A good scalpel and you can rework the spiky bits.
Some made it into my WFB Imperial Militia.
For inspiration, the Ciaphas Cain short story Sector 13 might give you ideas.....
