Hi guys,

I finally registered here and thought about sharing some WIP with you for C&C. I updated the blog with all my army projects to put it all into one.

Here are two models for my new Yme Loc craftworld army I just started. for now I have Night Spinner and Wraithlord in progress.

Wraithlord

Masking tape madness...

And result so far...

Nigh Spinner - I decided I like the "rising sun" theme so I put it on the tank too...

masking...

result before anything was done so far... no cleanup or weathering....

Pilots...

Clean turret with decals

and chassis with first signs of weathering. right side is slightly more weathered as I started to do dot washouts on right side...

Yme-Loc in my favorite Craftworld and I'm loving what you've done so far!

Looking forward to a lot more, hopefully!

Holy !

Fantastic use of color and decal. I can't wait to see more.

Makes my Yme-Loc sub-craftworld look foolish.

Keep up the good work!

Okay today's progress - I put some oil wash and dot washout weathering on the chassis to give it some depth and a bit worn / faded look with... unusual greenish tint.

Unfortunately the weathering is not really visible with my camera ... it's more pronounced in reality, with more grenish look on high areas.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Extremely nice airbrushing - mind if I ask what tape you are using and if there is any specific way to apply it/airbrush with it? Whenever I try to mask anything off I tend to get lots of horrible leaks under the tape :(

Very nice work indeed

Hey SIlver, thanks.. I'm using tesa Premium Plastering tape - Embossed. and for very sharp edges I just got a 3M airbrushing tape, very thin made especially for this. You can do curves with that one pretty nicely and holds fantastic edge on the airbrushed line. Also I know it's not entirely possible al the time but I keep most leaks away by airbrushing it under a slight angle to the edge, and also first layer goes from distance so it's getting only a slight tint but doesn't leak, the second layer holds much better on that and doesn't run even if heavily thinned.

So again some changes to my army and as the Night Spinner is waiting for all oil paint to dry through and through here's my DG... first remade bases - using snow.

and next thing is... tadadadadaaaa

custom built Typhus as HQ for my army.
Built from various pieces of CSM and marines I had in my bits box. Here are some photos from making of...

it's like a third time working with greenstuff so forgive any mistakes and downfalls of my sculpting. Overall I'm pretty OK with him and like how it turned out.

90% finished Night Spinner:

and 6 new Plague Marines - 4 more to go to have two squads of seven rotting corpses. Count the seven!

And now for something completely different...

I started working on DV Hellbrute to fit my Death Guard army. He's disgusting enough even without my shabby greenstuff skill so no conversion on this guy. Only skin color so far - armo has not been worked on.

Bad photos not worth of showing

New stuff from ForgeWorld came today so there should be some interesting stuff pretty soon...

what's in the row is:

2x blight drone for DG
1x Eldar Warp Hunter tank

and most exciting thing for me... Macharius VAnquisher as I was doing WW II 1/35 tanks before, this was a must. and that thing is a beast, and also a good pound of resin. CAn't wait to jump into that project. I'm just thinking about giving it a renegade feel cause I absolutely love that model but don't want to start DKOK army just because of a single model for my pleasure.

So first quick shot of WIP on first blight drone... base of rust to be covered by green / white color and chipped back to rust.

What do you thing about the rust effect?

I think it looks excellent. Sealing it and using some oil paint to replicate leaking lubrication and slime might be a good way to go.

So... drone is still drying and waiting for some more time to give it what it needs.

Here's a little side project... I'm thinking abou starting pre heresy / heresy era Death Guard which is kinda my love. So I did a testing model for the color scheme... worn white, with a lot's of unrepaired battle damage.

Here's the result.... what do you think guys?

I also finished base for wraithlord and put him on there. Still missing flamers on shoulder sponsons but the'yre coming soon

And three finished DV cultists. They are a quick thing. Most of time it took to make the camo pants.

So after some time to rest from all the green and rotten things I decided I'll try my brush skills on one of my harlequins... so here's WIP... I'm still lost on the diamond pattern... just can't get it right. many MANY repairs and still sucks :-(

Okay today's Eldar portion of work.

Dire avengers exarch WIP - need ti finish gemstones, and some shading on the cloth but overall finished to my best. Unfortunately :-(

And finished harlequin:

Sooo I did not have enough time to do some serious modelling lately so no updates for long time... excetp...

I present my friends Airsoft M4 in variation of DKoK splinter camo with chaos star on receiver to add a slight renegade feeling

Really like the variations in grey you are using.

I tried a bit of shading on the light grey but it still doesn't work as I'd like and as I can see with the betters.... but in next five guys I'll try to work on it a bit better.
