i am playing a tourny sunday, 1500 pts, vs necrons, nids, and orkz.

My strategy is to keep the master of the forge up on a roof top, bolster defenses, and
act as long range support with the conversion beamer popping bigger targets.
Infiltrate half field with the scouts, drop a few templates off the launcher, and act
as a waypoint for termies to teleport into.
The 2 rhinos with squads move up field quack as possible with support from the stormtalons,
pop troops and bring in termies that havent come in yet, and give em hell.

let me know what you guys think of this. i do have, not in use, 4 drop pods, 3 dreads, 1
iron glad dread, 2 thunderfire cannons, a vindicator, redeemer, crusader, razorback, 5 termies,
10 tactical, 5 snipers, a speeder, 10 bikes (with attack bike), and any HQ choice there is....
so alot of wiggle room hence my second guesses of trying out this new build....

Good Allrounder, good mobility, scare factor with the terminators and a bit of sneak with the scouts... Not much wrong with it...

Awesome list, this shows what is good about SM. The only complaint I have is that the Master of The Forge is not the best choice. Switch him with a libby and enjoy.

I care to disagree, then again I am a proponent of the MotF. The only viable way to run a libby with this list is divination with a tac squad or with the termies...Personally, I would want the MotF for the bolstering and the firepower.

Why the axes on the terminator sergeants? They've got 4 buddies with power fists, it could be nice to get a few hits in at initiative value.

Overall, looks good.
