I got a set of Circle Orboros colours to paint my Chaos Space Marines (go figure) as well, of course, as my Circle Orboros.

I find that they work really, really, really damn well. The colours are nice, they cover well and they are a pleasure to work with. They are a huge upgrade over the GW paints that I used to use.

What do others think of them?

Also, what are the Vajello paints like in comparison?

i love 'em!!!
i've used P3 since they came out 6 years ago...

i can't say enough good things about the colors...
there are subtle tones in each color that other paints just don't have...

most Vallejo colors seem to match the old GW range, or be military oriented...
i prefer flip-top over dropper bottles, so P3 pots are my choice...

for metals, it's Vallejo Air over any other brand...
so smooth and intense...
i do like P3 Pig Iron and Rhulic Gold for basecoating, then VA metals for the finish, with P3 inks, paints, and washes to add flavor to the metals...

cheers

I have mostly P3, and several of the pots are from when the line originally released. Great paints. I also prefer the flip-top paint pots, so I've never had an issue with them.

I have slowly been buying more P3 paints to replace GW ones. The p3 pots are identical to GWs 2nd Ed era paint pots which seal up well (I still have a bunch of 15+ year old pots). They also give you a lot more paint in the pot. I find they flow nicely, better than GW's right out of the pot reducing the need for additives.
