The Wolf guard is largely based on the body/backpack from
DV yeah, the front torso and arms are bits I managed to locate from my bitz box to attempt to
de-chaosify him a little

The swords make them lose the wolf aspect I think which is good if your going for a more nordic feel. I can't see the painting because its so light - What color is that white? Also is that necron writing on the 1 banner? Can you give us more info on the personalty/story your trying to convey in the SW ally you got here?
Thanks yeah the swords/toned done number of pelts are an attempt to create a tribal and combat oriented chapter (well all chapters are but this is more of a visceral slaying of foes than shooting). My current aim is to split my two grey hunter squads weaponry into the aspects of combat that they represent, this being the heftier, potentially slower broad sworded (longsword?) pack aimed to take down "heavier" foes (melta). The second will be a faster, lighter unit with two smaller weapons designed to prey on and overwhelm weaker enemies (flame weaponry, two smaller weapons).
Given that Space Wolves have no real successors (that didnt end poorly) my aim for the allies is to represent a crippled chapter seeking to go out in its last blazes of glory, space wolf esque in their organisation and attack techniques.
Edit:
The white is build up from the old Dheneb Stone through Bleached Bone to a final highlight of the new Ceremite white. I was aiming for a "Bone bleached by Desert Sun" kind of colour with them while using the red as a strong secondary.
