I made an order over a month ago at Imperial Armoury http://imperialarmoury.site11.com/, and I'm still waiting for my package to arrive. The guy was on honeymoon until the 20th of last month, and he dispatched my order a couple of days after, which I thought was fair. BUT, nothing. I emailed him last week (and quite politely), and I've yet to receive a response.
I don't think Imperial Armoury is going to get a good review on my blog...

Should I open up a dispute in Payal? Anyone else have problems with IA?

Never had an issue with them myself. Remember a lot of the time, issues with post are nothing to do with the sender. Especially overseas.
I have no idea why, but packages to germany and denmark for me, always take close to a month to arrive, yet aus/us often take max of a week...

Post is so fickle, even tzeentch and loki are doomed by it

Well, if the OP emailed the guy a week ago and received no response.. The other thing is that a PayPal dispute can stay open for a couple of weeks before being escalated to a claim. When I've had late parcels from sellers in China/HK on PayPal (or elsewhere - actually, I had to do it with Otherworld Miniatures at one stage). Just email the guy to tell him why the dispute has been opened - for your own protection - and that you'll drop it when the items arrive. Unless it hits that time limit as well.

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having problems with IA. I have been trying to contact the owner myself and am having no luck either. I built the website and am able to check to see if it has been dispatched for you. Send me a PM and I will try and help you with this matter.

Still no sign of my order and he still hasn't responded to my email which had now been 2 weeks since I sent it.

This is getting fishy... and unpleasant.

Open up a Paypal dispute right now, if you haven't already. You have/had 45 days since you placed your order.

Don't wait.

Farseer I'm sorry to see it's not arrived yet, I've still not been able to get hold of Kai. I will keep trying as there are other people wanting to place orders with him.

Well, this is odd? I made an order Sept. 9th.
I received it today, post marked Oct. 2nd? I've never had
a package from the UK take that long. And it doesn't explain
Kai's disappearing act either. I hope he's alright. He seems like
a nice enough person. Never would have imagined this happening.

Oho. Guess what turned up in the mail today?

My order !
It's taken ages to get here, but at least I've gotten it.

If anyone wants to read a review I wrote up of the store, here it is:http://www.greenfarseer.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/review-imperial-armoury-webstore.html

It's lucky I saw this, as I was thinking about starting an IG army, and have been looking at Imperial Armoury's site.

Bad communications and late deliveries are the probllems with Maelstrom at the moment. We all probably know how that's going.
If Imperial Armoury doesn't want to get tarred with the same brush, email updates are the easiest way.
Backlogs can be a pain to clear, though.
Clearing that honeymoon (Congrats, by the way ) message on the site will help, now that it's 2 months later.

I would just like to point out, this site is in breach of the UK DSRs in so many ways. I guess it is in the UK.

This dose not mean it is not to be trusted, but be aware.

Disappointingly the site has space for all the information that is required under DSR's, but it has not been filled in by the owner.

DSRs are distance selling regulations?
A quick email with links on should get that fixed, if you point out the penalties for ignoring them....

Yeah it is the Distance selling regs, the site owner has been informed of the issue. As I've said before though he appears to have vanished and is not replying to emails, PM's or text messages.

Ye distance selling regulations. I may well email them get home.

To be fair it doesn't seem to be a full time business, so he may well not realize.
