Hi !
This is my first post on DakkaDakka and i`m very pleased to join.
I like to share my paintjobs and get feedback.
Feel free to ask about colors or techniques.

This minis are middle between tabletop and pro-painted quality.
I painted this five Sternguards guys in 22 hours (i use stopwatch)
You can vote for them if you like - http://www.coolminiornot.com/317237
And Honourguards in 25 hours
I use speed NMM tech.

If you don`t mind i can share some older works in a future. I`ll give them extended comments to excuse.

Best regards!

Extra:
Painting armor.
Important colour is Dark prussian Blue - absolutely beautiful color . Its more intense than GW Regal Blue.
First step - Dark prussian Blue. (Another option: do mix of Dark Prussian Blue and Black Red for base)
Second Step - Ultramarine (Val MC)
Third - Enchanted Blue GW + Ultramarine
Fourth - Enchanted blue + little white.
Fifth - more white to enchanted blue.
Sixth - Almost white mix of White and little blue addition.
Tips: Dont use pure white except for only extra little dots.
Get the feel of "steps" when you mix colors
Use high water diluted colors for layers.
Use fast stroking brush movements .
Hope you find this helpful!

I keep looking at the Honor Guard, and it makes me wish that GW would make an actual plastic kit, instead of only including them with Calgar... although they would probably charge a ton for five guys with that level of detail

That is amazing! It actually looks like they are all hand drawn onto the background rather than being models.

I am totally awestruck by the level detail in the armour. Both squads are just astounding.

Kudos for having both the patience and skill to be able to paint to this degree.

Bases made from PVH plastic. That one used for outdoors advertisment. It can be easely cutted but still keep shape .

There is no contest...this is absolutely the best '1st post' ive ever seen! Despite your newb status on Dakka, you sir are not a newb when it comes to painting beautiful miniatures! The NMM armor look is incredible...I TRIED this once and never went back...i couldnt grasp the technique. Whats even more impressive is the time it takes you to finish these marines. Excellent work all around....I look foward to seeing more of you stunning work around the forums
