We all know Family Circus is horrible, but yesterday's strip threw me off:

Looking for the Empire spearmen from the Warhammer sixth edition box set (empire vs orcs) Must be unpainted and in good condition. Also looking for MIB Empire State Troops boxes.

Looking for Battle for Macragge and Black Reach Tactical squads, unpainted and unassembled.

Lolwut is this? I also found a Warhammer reference in The Dead by Charlie Higson, and was recently published.

Picked up a couple of days ago and had a phrase that describes a character's old toys "...Legos, half-painted Warhammer figures..." I thought it was a nice touch, can't really go on further without a huge spoiler alert. It's about zombies (people 16 and older become diseased and eat kids as a 'medicine'

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

Tarkus? Why not Cyrus?

Then, rather than "Trick or Treat!" you can really scare people by saying "Let the cleansing begin!!!".

It's possible the site hosting it picked up a strip it thought was official, but wasn't.

...but it's kind of unlikely, considering the numerous amount of fake Family Circus strips circulating the interwebbernets - one would think they would only pick up something they knew was legit.

Unfortunately, the main site runs two weeks behind on hosting it's official strips (likely to give some exclusivity to the publications that run it), so it's not immediately clear.

Regardless...

I find that picture frightening and confusing.

Bil Keane's grandson is over in WH40k General Discussion talking about it.

It's real.

All the syndication sites are showing the same strip for Oct. 31st, and they would recieve their copies of the strip straight for the artists. I think the effort needed to spoof whatever delivery method the artist uses to deliver their work in order to make a joke about 40K is probably not worth it.

It seems like the only reason people think it could be fake is that it mentions Warhams. The point of the comic is pretty clear, not sure why people think that it's fake.

This is the third thread I've seen made for this... That's like the same amount as the entirety of its fanbase, maybe more.

One of my favorite web comics had an opinion on this years ago.

It's an ugly planet. A bug planet.
