This is my finished 8" tall (base to tip of the axe) and 5" Wide Daemon HQ.

I sculpted him from scratch using super sculpty firm polymer clay, and a little bit of green stuff on the surface details and weapon. I then made a prototype mold, and cast and painted him. He weighs 1.5 lbs without a base.

Took me about a year to fully finish the project (with a full time job and life getting in the way) But now that he's done I'm using him as a Demon HQ in my 40k games.

If anyone is interested I can post the WIP pics in the painting and modeling tutorials forum.
Also there are a bunch more pics over on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/ScaryBeardProductions

For scale: Those are my custom 28mm troops. They aren't that great, some of my first sculpts from 2-3 years ago.

And in action! Stomping some Bugs at my Local Game store, Emerald Knights:

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Looks pretty awesome - it is quite different. The worst things about the large nurgle daemons is always the legs; this model handily gets around that

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Wow that is an amazing sculpt. I love how unique it is but you know exactly what it is. Also very nicely painted. A+ work here.
