Hey guys

Im looking to get into airbrushing and my plan is to buy a good airbrush and compressor now instead of buying cheap gak ones to learn from and then eventually buy good quality airbrush and compressor.

so I really like the Badger krome model airbrush but it does seem a bit expensive. so was on ebay and found all these airbrush kits (including compressors) cheap from china and was wondering has anybody used them, and are they good quality or just another rip -off from china.

theres also this compressor from ebay that i was thinking of buyiny does it look like a good quality compressor?

Firstly I'm going to say; You seem to be trying to get a high end product without paying the high end price tag. Which isn't really going to happen unless you find a mega bargain on ebay or something like that.

The reason people say to get a cheap one to begin with is that your inexperience will most likely result in broken airbrush whilst you learn just how delicate it is and how to handle it properly.

The compressor you linked to looks good, I have a similar one, only with dual pistons, and a black metal case, which came from everything airbrush for about a hundred pounds.
I really like that store, you said it is too expensive, but they actually do stock all the spare parts for all the airbrushes they sell. Most useful
Personally I really like Harder and Steenbeck airbrushes over the other brands, because of the nozzle assembly being blissfully easy. But they all have their perks and its much down to preference.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!

I got that compressor along with 2 airbrushes off amazon. Compressor is great, the airbrushes werent . Mainly because they weren't gravity fed (from the top). So bought one For 30 quid or so again from Amazon. Looks like same company as similar box. Works great. I can't comoare to an expensive one but I use for base coats, zenith highlighting and glosses. Couldn't work without one. There's also a cheap airbrush booth I GT for around 80 that's in eBay that I would reccomend. Folds away easily and keeps the room spray free.

Edit, jut checked the rest of your link, looks like the airbrush you get is the extra one I ordered so would defnateky reccomend the site.

That compressor looks like the same one I use and comes with a tank and airbrush holder for just a bit more than I paid for just the compressor. I've not had any problems with it. You will probably need to buy an adapter to connect your airbrush hose to the output though.
