Hey there, last week at my venue a friend was mentioning an old White Dwarf article about an isolated unit of IG ork hunters who went native and started dressing and fighting like orks. Anybody know where this was published?

I notice my posts seem to bring threads to a screeching halt. Considering the content of most threads on dakka, you're welcome.

It's in GW's old Armaggedon campaign site. There should be a cached copy somewhere, lemme check...

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

They were called, IIRC the 'armageddon ork hunters' (Amazingly original name I know)

Essentially a jungle regiment that fought a guerilla war against Snikrot's kommandos in the equatorial jungles, but due to constantly fighting orks they kind of went a little orky, and due to limited supplies would use ork tech if need be.

Mini-wise, they were just catachans with ork weapons thrown in here and there, painted to look like they had smeared every inch of exposed skin with green camo paint and the vehicles had been disguided to look orky (read: random armor plates stuck on at funny angles
