Quick question, can PotMS bypass the limit of fliers not being able to shoot more than 4 weapons?

It's my understanding the PotMS allows you to resolve an weapon at normal BS, at another target it need be, and nothing else.

You can shoot 1 more gun at full BS using POTMS than you would be normally allowed BUT you cannot shoot more than 2 missiles in a turn due to the more specific rules on missiles.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Yes, it lets you shoot an additional weapon. However it still follows all the requirements forced on a vehicle, so if its forced to make a snap shot against a particular target it doesn't bypass that.

A Stormraven can fire 5 weapons, one of which can be at a seperate target.

So say a land raider moves 12" I believe that only allows its weapons to snap fire, potms doesn't allow it to gain full ballistic skill for one shot?

Does PoTMS say you may fire one addition weapon at full bs?

IIRC it just allows you to fire one more weapon, so it will still be a snapper

BRB pg. 40 says you can fire one more weapon than normal at full BS and optionally at a different target. Just can't move Flat Out or pop smoke.

So snap shot rules will override that. All good.

If you move 12" you may fire one weapon at full Ballistic Skill.

However, you must still snapfire at Fliers.

I dont think snap shot rule overrides potms JD, i think it is the other way around just from the way i'm reading it, could be wrong

Unless you are a flyer firing at another flyer.
POTMS overrides being forced to snapfire because you've more guns then you are allowed to fire at full bs. A unit that you must always snapfire at still must be snapfired at.
