The reason I'm going dual FOC is because I haven't got the Mortis-pattern Contemptor Dreadnought I need for my original list, and I really need the anti-air.
I have a tournament coming up and wanna hear what everybody thinks of this:

HEADQUARTERS:

Marshal, TDA, TH/SS, Adamantine Mantle, 185pts
Reclusiarch, TDA, storm-bolter, 125pts
Emperor's Champion, AACNMTO, 140pts

ELITES:

5 Terminators, 2 assault-cannons, tank-hunters, 255pts
Aegis Defence Line, quad gun, 100pts

5 Terminators, 2 cyclone missile launcher, tank-hunters, 265pts
Aegis Defence Line, quad gun, 100pts

7 Assault terminators, 4 TH/SS, 3 LCs, furious charge, 301pts

TROOPS:

5 Initiates, lascannon, bolters, 95pts

5 Initiates, lascannon, bolters, 95pts

5 Initiates, plasma cannon, bolters, 100pts

10 Initiates, 4 neophytes, power fist, meltagun, CCW/BP, frags, 239pts

That's 2001pts, if anyone gives me crap I can drop the plasmagun and add bionics to one of my hqs to make it 2000pts on the dot.
I tabled my buddy's Abbadon/chosen list with it (not the most competitve, he had a single storm-eagle that got popped upon entry).

The assault-termies are there as a distraction as they run forward to go chop some wood (they eventually killed Abbadon and a squad of 5 slaneesh LC termies, even though it took 4 turns, guy's a beast).
The termies are there to take out fliers (tank-hunting quad guns are just awesome), if there aren't any I'll push the assault cannons forward to go shred stuff.
The EC will tag along with the CC blob for MEC shreddage and objective grabbing.
The other 3 Initiate squads will objective-sit, behind the ADL, alternatively they can run forward for mid-field objectives; not ideal, and this is I think the main weakness: lack of mobility...

Any thoughts?

Looks to be alright. Be wary of the 5 man squads though. If the termie bait doesn't work there go all your scoring units. I'd like to know how it winds up doing though since 6th really mixed up how my templars play now.

Yeah, it is the weak link in the list.

I also might swap one lascannon for a ML for more anti-horde capability, I've never faced a horde list and I'm worried I may be ill-equipped to handle them (getting the charge will be critical).

Automatically Appended Next Post:
That said as far as 6th ed and BTs are concerned, the main thing I've realized is that you can't go all shootty or all assaulty like we used to.

While the shootty list definitely has an edge, you gotta keep at least one solid CC threat to deal with other dedicated CC units (thinking wraiths and such...) and to tie other key units up.

Tank hunting termies with dual heavy weapons are just as good as they used to be, if not better.

The EC is awesome at challenging MEC sergeants where you can kill them before their PW can do any damage. Also the fact that we don't have sergeants of our own helps in CC to keep that PF or PW alive (watch out during the shooting phase though since we can't LOS)

Hope this helps.

Anybody has suggestions/advice on the list?

I swapped the original lascannon/plasmagun on one of the initiate squads for a plasma cannon, it now adds up to exactly 2000pts.

It will provide the anti-horde I need while also helping against other termie lists and light armor.

Any input?

I wouldnt park the cyclone ML next to the agis defence line. I would use the laz crusader squad. Terminators can hold there own weight out in the open, and even in assault if need be. On the flip side, if your worride about some one assaulting your defense line, then they should charge out to meet them.

Solid list tho...

I'm mainly using the Termies to absolutely make sure that planes come down (if there are any), their tank hunting ability has helped quite often (I'm a bit dice-challenged) and combined with the quad-gun there aren't many fliers that will make it through alive.

If there are no fliers/vehicles the termies will move forward in support of the assault squads.

It sounds pretty solid to me!
