I am returning to warmachine after not playing for a couple of years. I am trying to get back into the swing of things. These are two lists that I am messing around with:

I would like your input on these lists. They are intended to be competitive, but not necessarily for steamroller.

I've never tried EGaspy so I won't say anything about him.

I'm not too fond of this minimum units thing. I feel you could take advantage of the UA/Tartar/Surgeon or any other support unit/solo more if you take full units. That's just my view so try and find out.

P.S. Maybe for Skarre you should try scrap thralls for ritual sacrifice or Skarre bomb. She likes her pathetic little pawns meahuhuhuhuhahaha.

For skarre: Boost the units to max. Also, cut some of the 'Jacks. Skarre is VERY stingy with her focus and needs it for her spells or to kill crap, so less jacks is better with her. I'd say probably stick with a couple stalkers, at the most. Min units suck, period, and if those thralls all die, then Tart cannot make more. So i'd say cut the defiler, max out the McThralls, Banes, and Raiders. I dunno points totals, but if your short, swap both stalkers out for a ... oh that 6 point cheap heavy, cannot remember his name ATM >.>

Slayer?

What about taking Deathjack with Skarre? That bastard is really focus efficient. He's also terrifying.

You need a heavy or 2 in each of those lists. Slayers are nice as those above have said and dirt cheap for what they are abd Seethers are also nice and VERY focus efficient for a non character-they can run and charge for free and generate a point of focus for themselves each turn. Also as those above have said quit it with the minimal unit thing. Run your satyxis raiders at full strength and bring one of those necro surgeons along to keep regenerating your mechanithralls so you can use them as sacrificial pawns. The Banes are nice though but drop Tartarus and possibly the officer and standard to make room for more things.
