I'm looking to see what Ap in combat a Laser lance on a shining spear is. The shots from them has stayed at AP 4 but there is no rating for it in combat. I'd assume it would end up at AP 3 as its a power weapon in combat. I'd pray for AP 2 to give these guy a boost over banshees etc but i think that would be reaching.

Anyone even use these guys any more and ran across this????

From memory they are unique power weapons, rather than actually being "power lances" as defined in the new rules.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

They are unique power weapons and therefore follow those rules in addition to their normal rules. Note this makes them slightly better than normal Power Lances.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Unusual power weapons are AP3.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.
