Hello all.

As many may know, GW no longer makes Asurmen blue wash.

I did a bit of searching and poking around, and while I found decent replacements for devlan mud and gryphonne sepia, I have yet to find a replacement for asurmen blue.

Anyone have any suggestions for a matching blue wash?

(the new gw blue one looks very different).

Check out this link. It's a recipe for a homemade wash, and theres some specific recipes down nearer to the bottom of the page for specific shades in different colors:

It's not a very specific replacement as you asked for, but I hope I helped none-the-less.

To follow fenrir's post, Secret Weapon Miniatures does their own washes using Les' tutorials. They have a really great selection including a Sapphire wash which I think is just what you're looking for. It's a heavy body blue wash.

You could try Vallejos Blue wash. I haven't used it myself but i would imagine its a good match considering how close all their other paints are to the citadel line.
