They're Crystal Caste's dice... I have a RPG set (d20, etc...) they're... okay... They definitely don't roll, they just kinda land.

Most FLGSs will probably carry them. I believe they are a Chessex product.

Just so you know. If you roll more than about four at a time they become very, very difficult to read.

They are indeed Crystal Caste.
I have a d6 and a d10 and they are very cool but I have to warn you some people are going to whine about them and say they are loaded or cheaty just because people love to whine.

No, they simply don't work for a game like 40k which more times than not, require allot of dice to be rolled at a time. To keep the game running fast and smoothly you need to be able to read them quickly and without confusion. These dice do not work well at all for 40k.

Thanks! I actually prefer that, they get shaken up like mad in my hands, and I can load way more up cause of the shape, also I hate when dice go flying all over the place/off the table/into models etc.

Anyone know which colour that is? They're "Green" looks a lot lighter than the green in the picture.

Actually looking at them for Fantasy (Skaven army) and do not have trouble reading them at all, what is the problem you have with them exactly?

There's a guy at my FLGS that uses these once in a while because he is in a funny mood. They don't really roll, they just land however they are when you throw them down and maybe roll over once or twice here and there. And no one has ever had a problem reading them. The only issue was that he was accused of them being weighted once or twice, but he then lets them use the dice for the rest of the game and it is usually enough to prove they aren't weighted (it's just because the way they, or lack there of, roll)

The way I see it, you're holding them in cupped hands shaking them at least what, 5-6 times or more? Rolling around on the table makes no difference at that point.

People only cry about weighted dice when the dice go against them consistently anyways.

I have a d8 of these around somewhere. Maybe I'll pick up a set of five d6's for Warmahordes since you don't roll more dice than that at a time usually.

They look cool but I don't like that they don't roll much. To Anti climatic for me. I have found that its easier for me to read dice in large numbers when their pips instead of numbers. Anyone else notice that?

I use them as wound counters. Very distinctive on the board.

Those actually look amazing for HP/wound counters... they are very distinct from square dice and don't get scooped up.

I have never seen these used for 40k. I honestly think I would rather see these than people rolling casino dice for special LD rolls where they think that backflip technique to roll along an axis to eliminate the ends is helping them out.

I would give them a chance, but I can see why people might complain
