Not enough shooting. Nurgle armies are not very good in close-combat. How are you going to get your Tally up if you have to rely on assault? No, what you need is some shooting to get the Tally up. Then when the Tally goes up, you can wade into assault.

Drop the terminators. Instead, get Nurgle oblits. They are just awesome and possibly the best way to get your Tally up from range.

The Helbrute does not contribute to the army. I understand if it is because you have the model, but if you are willing to swap him out, I recommend dropping him for some more Nurgle units.

Drop the Pfists and Gift of Mutation on the plague sergeants. He is only going to get into challenges and killed before he even has a chance to be useful. It's better to shoot and waith til your attacks ignore armour saves before charging in.

Your plaguebearer squad is huge. I recommend reducing it and adding more shooting to your army.

Also, take advantage of zombies since you already have Typhus in there.

Here is 1 list to consider:

Hi,

I'm running a CSM with Daemon allies list at the moment and have gone a bit of a different route.

Couple of questions, who is shooting the Quad gun? Might be worth getting a warsmith or a cheap character to man this for you as at the moment, if you have a champion crewing it, the rest of your army needs to shoot the flyer as well!

I don't typically bother with Gift of Mutation as thats 10pts a model and I can think of other things I would rather spend those on.

I normally run the Plague marine units at 7 strong ('cos its fluffy) with plasma guns, so can deal with most things and will discourage people from closing too quickly.

I've also run a couple of havoc squads, one with Auto-Cannons and the other with Missile Launchers. So good across vehicle and infantry and with a very long range

HQ slot is a Lord on a bike with MON and some blight grenades and a power weapon.

Then I'm running a full allocation of Spawn with MON (T6 with 3 wounds each?????) to romp up the field, the rules for beasts make these things scary fast and can generate a terrifying number of attacks when they arrive.

Epididi deepstrikes in the backfield with 6 Plague bearers (back to 7) to keep score and objective camp while the rest of the army turns things into piles of gloop.

So far its worked beautifully (tabled most recent opponents by turn 3 with minimal casualties suffered),

I have another couple of games scheduled this week to see if it can cope with Space Wolves and Grey Knights (not confident about the GK match up)
