I've been thinking of getting a headset with a mic for my online gaming but i'm unsure on a few things. Is it worth splurging on an expensive set or should i just get a cheapo one? Any brands makes or models to avoid? Anything else i should know?

Cheers.

I just got some turtle beach x12s and I really like them alot, has a volume adjustment for game and chat sound. Of course I don't know jack about mics.

I've been using a turtle beach headset myself for the past year and have had no issues with it whatsoever, its a great headset and it came with the option to change the in-game volume and chat volume separately.

WAAAHG!!! until further notice
