Okay, since I'm still not quite clear on my favorite chaos god, I find December the greatest possible time to experiment things!

I will spend 5 days "worshiping" or more like favoring each of the gods at a time. For 5 gods and undivided this will take 30 days and I will roll a D6 (a six sided dice) every 5 days to determine my next god. This will probably make me into a chaos fury if I "ascend" though...

Feel free to try this out if you wish. Even if you already follow chaos in some way, this'll be a great opportunity to get to know the others. Consult this table if you try out:

On a d roll of a:
1 you worship Malal (Malice, the Renegade God)
2 you worship Nurgle
3 You worship Tzeentch
4 You worship Slaanesh
5 you worship Khorne
6 you honor chaos in it's full glory! (undivided, if you're a dummy)

Now for those that do NOT know Malal, he is basically one of the older ones (at least older than Slaanesh), he was kicked from the midst of the other gods and is now dedicated to killing or just gaining the upper hand over the others. He still has one legion of followers (The Sons of Malice), who gather every once in a while to EAT the members of all the other species' and especially the other gods' worshipers.

I don't know if I'm wrong or right, but isn't there some rule against promoting worship of any sort on the site?

Surely there's one against nonsense?

Leave it to dakka to take things seriously. What IDIOT would actually worship/try to promote someone to worship the chaos gods. They are fictive entities in a fictional universe in a tabletop game based on fictional backstory.

I do not understand you people.

I feel confident in saying the feeling is mutual.

I get that this was meant to be funny, but let's say something was lost in translation and it just comes across as a bit daft.

Hmmm...
It is not to promote worship that is for sure. More like so people can find their favorite chaos god. Not a bigger deal than saying what your favorite car is etc.
By "worship" I mean like doing kinda like research and favoring to use units etc. dedicated to that god on TT or the video games or something like that.

Just an observation here but I think its funny how adamant people are that the Chaos gods are fictitious (which I know they are) when the acts that they condone are seen on a day to day basis more commonly than any other deity.

Think about it

Khorne - Murder and Violence

Slannesh - Debauchery and excess

Nurgle - Decay and Death

Tzeentch - Change which is a universal force

Just saying........

You are of course right. But that is with all mythologies' gods. Like Thor or Zeus for example.
Stilll, a person actually worshipping the chaos gods IRL would be rather crazy.
