I'm trying to get a good judge on how big they are compared to the Infinity models. But I'm thinking they'd be a fairly awesome proxy for the Kum Motorized Troops if I ever choose to run some of them.
I'm so used to looking at Antenocitis Workshop for the vehicles, but some of the models are rather awesome too.

I think they're a good proxy. Other Antenociti models I've seen fit perfectly with Infinity figs. I don't know for sure though.

Not a fan, primarily because hover tech in Infinity seems... rare, to say the least, and Haqqislam aren't known for having the money to throw at that kind of thing.

Got quite a few of Antenociti's GOT range and can confirm it scales and works perfectly alongside Infinity. Think they were probably designed with Infinity in mind, but I believe they are fleshing out their own GOT (Governance of Technology) universe and making rules for it at present.
Am in the process of sorting out an Xmas present (to myself ) of some of their future-police style troopers and vehicle for use for scenario play in Infinity, think they look really nice!

I don't know about that...
Your first point if probably more spot on - hover tech is rare in Infinity.
But as Haqqislam as a near monopoly on SILK, I think they're OK cash-wise!

Yeah. I'd personally see about adding wheels to them if I would use them. Also hover bikes are silly. Hover skateboards on the other hand!

JetMoto disagrees with you!
And my Black Market Silk Dealer can throw all sorts of cash around.

And yet, there's in-fluff explanations of them not spending it on military technology. For example, the Marghariba Guard being the only regiment to use TAGs, and even then, not many, and the general low-tech of their armed forces (with a few exceptions like Asawira).
Those hoverbikes are great, I just don't think they fit well in a Haqqislam force without going the direction of Chemical Cutthroats fluff, which basically isn't Haqqislam anymore, it's a rogue trader (heh).

Truth!
Haqqislam's technological superiority is not in firepower and weapons, but in the ability to make humans Better. In both terms of taking steps to make them Superhuman (without Cybernetic Enhancements), and with keeping them alive and healing them.
They're a major player for a reason after all. But you're right, their investment is focused on Biological stuff. And like most regions, they're probably too proud to just straight up buy weaponry and things from the other Superpowers.

It's actually the reason I went with Haqqislam. Other races have powered armour and TAGs and all the cool toys. Haqqislam do it without those toys, while still being cool.

But Haqq DO have powered armour (HI - just as hackable as anyone else's bar ariadna - they just don't have as many as Yu-jing or PanO). They also have a TAG bigger than anyone else's with the BS to make it a good spec shot artillery piece (HGL). So it's NOT like they "do it without all the cool toys". They just use fewer of them is all.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

However, they're not exactly common. Asawira are personal bodyguards of the Shah. Azra'il are disgraced special forces (so a small group selected from a small group). Ahl Fassed are strictly comprised of mercenaries, scum hesitantly accepted into the faith. Only Jannisaires are numerous, as line HI, and their powered armour isn't exactly quality equipment. It's designed for line troops. chromedog wrote:They also have a TAG bigger than anyone else's with the BS to make it a good spec shot artillery piece ( HGL). Which they don't have many of and isn't a very expensive TAG, according to their fluff.

Anyway, back on topic - The price comparison is in favour of the proxy - 8 GBP for 2, while the original Kums are 30 EUR for 2.

I've got these two and am working on them at the moment, between other projects. But here's a WIP shot of one of them:
They work OK as Kum proxies, size-wise, although they were sent to me with 25mm bases rather than 40mm bases as pictured, which was annoying. The plan is to do one of them in all red and the other in all black. I'll add some logos and stuff once the painting's all done, but haven't decided what, yet.
