So I tried to be good and couldn't, I got the starter and now looking at what to get next....
Not gonna lie but crap are TB expensive (compared to Khador).
So what should I get to fill out at 35 points?

Well, you'll obviously want a couple of dependable heavies and some support first, but a good unit seems like it would help you out a lot too.
If you get an earthborn and magnetize a heavy beast kit that is likeley to be a good start. I know fenblades are probably the cheapest of the medium-based units and seem to play well so they seem like a good unit to pick up. The krielstone and a fell caller seem like staples from what I've seen, but I don't pay much attention to trolls.

7-11s are called Stop and Robs for a reason... 
Also, how are trollbloods more expensive than Khador? Just because not every warbeast is a heavy that costs around 10 points of your list doesn't necessarily make it more expensive.

I went through and put my "wish list" together on minturemarket and it came out to $375....(thats at like 30% off).
I think I paid about $250 for my 115ish points of Khador.
Whats really sad is I keep trying to making myself stick to the paint what you got before getting more rule, but PP is making me break that one left and right.....

Most infantry is metal and medium based.
A Kriel Warrior unit decked to the gills, for example, pushes past a hundred dollars.

It's the last of my GW stuff, I TO/ played the ringer army in a 6th Ed tournament and lost all desire to play it after getting to know the rules for WM/H it's just sitting in a box in its foam in my basement.
And to bring this back on topic, I wants more trolls.

Yeah, the issue is you have to buy the following:
* Dire Troll Mauler (9pts)
* Earthborn Dire Troll (10pts)
Krielstone Bearer and 3 Stone Scribes (3pts)
* Krielstone Stone Scribe Elder (1pts)
Trollkin Fennblades (Leader and 9 Grunts) (8pts)
* Trollkin Fennblade Officer & Drummer (2pts)
Fell Caller Hero (3pts)
Good news is that Fennblades are plastic.

Just buff your army up from 15 to 25 to 35, it'll let you buy and paint bit by bit, while still having an army
that was what I was doing until a moment of weakness. cygnar/merc models are just too pretty...

That was the rule set down by my wife and agreed to in principal by me. However "Shiny New Mini Syndrome" was not taken into account when said rules were put into effect.... 
I still stand by the "only play painted" rule.

Good list for 35. I'd prefer an Axer over an Impaler myself, but I do love myself some speed buffs, and you'd have to cut the SSE.
If you have the plastic warpack, be thankful. I have a metal Impaler, and the spear WILL. NOT. STOP. BREAKING. I love the Impaler to death, but I think I'm going to have to find a plastic spear bit.

The wrist on the impaler is the problem in my experience, the spear its self is nice and hefty making the wrist the weak point in that area.
