So who else got one? Second year in a row I've ordered one. Last year included a full DE warrior box, 5 regular termies, 3 heavy weapons teams for IG, plus a ton of random sprues from various kits, was very happy. This year it was a lot different in how it was packaged, it included a complete NoS DE raider and rather than tons of partial sprues from kits the bag was filled to the brim with loose bits, minimal sprue. Very satisfied with my purchase, at $70 it's high for a bits bag, but the raider alone is half the total $ spent. I've got between 15 and 20 full various marines in the bag, wolves, angels, chaos, generic, a bunch of large scenery pieces, 5 WoC knight horses, most of a assault cannon dread, 2 complete lightning claw termies, couple autocannons from IG, half of an ork fighta bomba, plus several handfuls I haven't even sorted yet.

Tried looking for mondo bag. Only found mega for 30$. Gonna get one or 2 for kicks. I love kit bashing and finding what's what.

It is a Black Friday special they put out every year.

So very limited time offer and not much fanfare this year from what I've seen advertised on it, but totally worth it.

I ordered two last year and one this year( birthday presents from the wife)... Last years stuff was more of a mix. At least two full boxes worth of dark eldar kabalites, lots of IG parts almost two full sentinels , tons of grey knight chests and weapons, lots of termie parts( enough for almost 10 full termies) , a full tac squad box, and a lot of Csm parts and chaos termie lord bits like weapons Also a lot of Snfuinary guard and drake angel bits too. Not that many fantasy bits outside of the full island of blood gryphon rider and the skaven lord.

This year there were definitely a lot more loose bits. Mostly sanguinary guard legs, about 11, a lot of chests and heads. About 7 Greg knight legs and arms,a bag full of the gk icons. There was also a lot more csm parts this year, mostly berserker legs and chests, lots of heads, and the chaos lord legs. There was a full ork trukk kit including the instructions and lots more ork bits. A lot more fantasy parts this time too. There were some parts to a tervigon but not enough to be of much use, like half a head and a few arms/legs.

I also got a copy of white dwarf for November in the bag and they threw in a box of war machine hordes troll blood minies with my order. A nice bonus I think.

I really enjoyed parsing through everything and sorting it all was great fun and surprises. Look forward to next year.

I split one with a couple of clubmates last year. Lots of bits to be sure, Quite a few figs, but nothing that made us say "Wow, I'm glad we did this". It was actually kind of a meh so we skipped this year.

We did split a Mantic Crazy Christmas box, though it appears to be not a random thing at all this year.

I got one. Mixed feelings. Came with a complete space marine rhino kit, which I needed. Also lots of sanguinary guard, some grey knights, loads of space orcs, loads and loads and loads of space marine bits, including a ridiculous amount of space wolf terminator assault cannons and chain fists. Seriously, like 8 assault cannons.

Also a fair bit of chaos space marine stuff, which I also can use. Lots of fantasy and historical stuff, spears, shields etc.

Also a complete template sprue and an issue of the new white dwarf.

Given the moratorium my family place on me buying myself stuff so I don't ruin my Christmas. I might get this.

Couldn't afford the Mondo bag on top of the rest of my WarStore Black Friday order, so I only got the Mega. Plenty of bits for my buck, but their usefulness varies significantly. Came to roughly 1/2 SM bits, 1/4 DE, 1/8 Orks, 1/8 IG. The SM bits included lots of individual weapons, purity seals, etc. - pretty universal stuff.

I can't, however, build more than one complete figure out of the lot. I've got well over half a dozen sets of DE legs and tons of heads, weapon arms, etc. but only one complete torso. Three termie legs and torso backs, but only one front... and it's Chaos (which doesn't match up around the head). A few Cadian crouched legs and lasguns, but not a single torso or head. Fantasy bits were limited to a few each of WoC Marauder mace and Black Orc choppa arms.

This isn't entirely unexpected, but I'm still a little disappointed. The larger parts and mostly complete models visible in the example picture were nowhere to be found - again, not entirely unexpected, as the pic obviously hasn't been updated since metal models were common. The ratio of sprue:bits was also a bit higher than what you seem to have experienced. My order was placed within an hour of the opening bell, too, so I know I didn't get stuck with the dregs. I'm going to skip it, from now on, unless I'm in a position to spring for the Mondo bag, which seems to be a better buy.

This was my first WarStore bag, but I think it was enough to determine that I prefer the style of Mantic's Crazy Christmas bag/box, which contains assorted full sprues, instead of bits (I've gotten two, now, which has given me the core of two sizable armies and a sprinkling of three more).
