Hmm...
It's a nice piece, though. Exactly the sort of thing that I would add to my painting pile if I thought it would still balance up there....

How well would it scale to Warhammer Fantasy? Because that's exactly what I was looking for to use as Neferata.

Probably pretty well. A slightly-taller character model is always acceptable.

It scales rather well to 28mm assuming Studio McVey keeps up the scale.
Comparison from left to right:
1. 32mm Malifaux - Ronin
2. 28mm? Studio McVey - Y'Sala and Darkness
3. 28mm Infinity - Deva
4. 28mm 40k - Warlock

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels. |

Thanks for the comparison shot - it is photos like this that show how truly f'ed up GW is in terms of scale...

I was thinking the same thing, Alph. GW's "Blobby McBlobsaLot" models get put to shame next to these other companies' efforts! As soon as there are enough models from a single third party to make armies out of, I think we're going to see an exodus away from GW's insanely squat models.

To be fair, the Eldar kits are all out of wack when it comes to scales. There's a large number of them(the model Absolutionis posted being one of them) which are at least a decade old and have not been updated in that timeframe. There are some which look "right" when compared to the Forge World Shadow Spectres.
I bring that bit up because FW is notorious as well for being "out of scale" as they prefer to do a more realistic scale to the heroic scale of the main range.
On topic:
I like that beasty. It's definitely an interesting thing, with the whole "rising from the ground" aspect...or is it sinking in?

I have some Shadow Spectres, but their pose is so flowy/dynamic that the comparison is odd.
I apologize that I don't have Space Marines or Warhammer Fantasy models to make a decent comparison to something people would understand. Between the Eldar and Tyranids that I own, Eldar are at least humanoid.
Regardless, the Studio McVey models are based on the typical lipped bases like Malifaux/Warmahordes, but seem to be 28mm.
Using it as a WHFantasy model may look out-of-place only because it doesn't have the GW exaggerated "heroic" proportions.
Put her on a rock or some platform and nobody will notice.

The Vampire Counts skeletons and Grave Guard, which she will be bunkering in, are actually not as badly proportioned as the rest of the GW range. So she wouldn't look too out of place. The AoW vampiress doesn't.
