Why no Indiegogo?

Is it the immediate money grab, or something else?

That and the fact the money is taken even if funding is unsuccessful, if I understand it correctly. It just seems that all ups the risk far beyond whats already present in Kickstarter. Its one thing to take a risk on a fully funded project, another to have a company walk off with your money and the project part funded, increasing the likelihood of never seeing a return. Maybe if I was better off financially, but my hobby money is extremely limited, so I need to make sure it counts.

As for this project specifically...I might get in if it hits the funding limit...if I miss it ill keep them saved and get some stuff when the products hit regular retail sale.

Indiegogo Fixed campaigns,

pretty much like KS except you get charged when you pledge, if the campaign fails you get your money back and the project creator gets nothing

Indiegogo Flexable campaigns

NOT like KS you get charge when you pledge BUT if the campaign fails the creator gets to keep whatever fund were raised and TRY to carry the project forward so major risks of you ending up with no money and no goods

so if I see flexible campaigns I don't bother reading any further (until they reach their targets when they should in theory have enough money to finish the project)

Interesting, but I wonder if the demon market is a bit saturated already.

Still, I know at least a few people who'd be interested in the Blood Demon.

Ach, I'm really interested in the 3 demons, but the flexible funding model on Indi is just so not my cup of tea....
