The IG players target priority was pretty good. I'm rather confused with his deployment though, it was really far forward.

I just want to know his reasoning for deploying that far forward.

Two reasons really: 1- I was hoping to get his mobs into rapid fire range and then give the FRSR order to my blobs. This way I could crush the mobs under superior numbers of dice. That strategy did work, but only towars the end after his KFF Mech was killed and could no longer roll on cover saves. 2- This is actually the first time I've played against Orks so I wasnt used to most of Bad_Sheeps strategies and how Orks work. Normally I deploy that far forward since auto and lascannons have a 4 ft range, that far forward gives me range of our entire board. In hindsight I'd probably stick a little closer to the back next time.
