Okay om still fairly new to fantasy, and i have a few questions
1. if i give a necromancer a corpse cart dose count towards my special unit count?
2. i i put a vampire on a abyssal terror can i have him join a unit of vargheists
3. if i loose either a hexewraith or if i loose 1 out of three vargheists, can a succesful cast of the invocation of nemek bring that lost model back?

1. No,, The corpse cart will use the points in the Hero or Lord area.

2. No, The Abyssal Terror is a Monster. They can not join units.

3. Yes. For the hexewraiths you can bring back as many as you can up to the orignal unit size. The Vargheist is Vampiric, you can only restore 1 wound. So if you have lose 1 vargheist, and the other 2 vargheist do not have wounds on them, you bring back 1 vargheist with 1 wound left.

Hex Wraiths are ethereal, so while casting invoke on them, you only recover 1 wound worth of lost models; just like models with the vampire rule, or the Large Target rule.

So, you cast IoN and, regardless of all other factors (such as the level of the casting wizard), ethereals only recover 1 wound total, period. Right?

Correct.

And then the lore attribute heals 1 wound on a wounded model, but will not bring back a model.

So if you had a unit of 5 wraiths (2 wounds each) and take 2 wounds from combat res, you drop to 4 wraiths. Cast invoke, and the unit recovers 1 wound (replacing the wraith) and then the lore attribute can be used to heal the wounded wraith.

Okay, thnaks for your help,, since im still larning rules and whatnot and i need help with lots of concepts. So im guessing if i had a vc characer on a hellsteed he still could not join a unit of vargheist?
Also if i wanted to march with say any vc character/bloodknights on a undead mount without the vampirc rule and he's ousite the bubble of my army general he/they restriced to the mount's basic move.

No, models with and units consisting only of models with the 'vampiric' rule are exempt, things like vargheists and vargulfs, they can march no matter where they are...

Black Coach disagrees.

Aye, but thats limited by unit type, not proximity to the general...

Correct, but out of everything that has the vampire rule, the only things that gain the ability to actually march are:
Vargeists (who are frenzied and hard to control)
Varghulfs (who are lone mediocre monsters, and out competed by other rares)
Blood Knights (again, frenzied who tend to over-run off where you don't want them to)
And lone vampires not in units (who will die to combat res).

The ability to "march" isn't really all that useful. The two units who could get the most out of it, are low leadership (7), and frenzied, making the use of them as fast moving flankers dubious at best.

Could you imagine how terrible a varghulf would be without the ability to march though? yuck
