Howdy, I've decided to start a project log for my Word Bearers CSM army. Progress has been slow for a while until last week when I got brush happy, my new inspiration for getting this army done is my involvement in the The Adratus Sector Campaign that I'm playing in with my gaming group.

My aim is to get the army done for Spring time, then maybe add a force of Daemon allies before moving back to my Skaven army.

Without further ado here are some pics so far:

It looks like you are off to a good start. The Word Bearers have always been on of my fave units.

Thanks

Well they took me a little longer than anticipated as I don't get time off for Xmas but still had to do all the things that it brings like xmas shopping, seeing family etc etc. But they are now finally finished!

Without further ado here's some pics:

And my question to you good people, what's the best way to eradicate the shine from transfers?

Looking good! In answer to your questin you have to use gloss varnish (I know sounds stupid but bear with me) then use a matte varnish (Games Workshops is called Lahmian Medium). Keep up the good work

Thanks mate, I thought about trying the Lahmian Medium but I didn't think to Gloss it first, I'll hopefully get chance to give it a go over the weekend so I'll try and update
