Have you considered arming it?
It wouldn't be too hard to equip it with a nerf gun for the assault cannon, and a set of nerf missiles for the missile launcher.
That way you can actually 'hunt' your targets. :p
If you're interested I'm happy to help you with what would be best to use and how to mount it.

Nerf darts are about as violent and dangerous as throwing marshmallows at people

The main problem with ordering from ThinkGeek is they sting you on the postage - often £30-40+ for even small items.

I honestly think that there'll be too much weight on it for the car motor to cope....
I think a 12-14v Drill would work better tbh.

Could try ripping them straight from Dawn of War or Space Marine?

On a thought (unless you thought of this already) - cutting an indentation in the edge of the hole for the arms, that a 'locking pin' can slot into so that 'at rest' it can be locked in place, meaning you don't have hold the arms 'up' at all times, and will only move when released.

Would you please post a drawing so I can better understand your idea please.
Paul
Something like this:
I did my design assuming using PVC pipe and boards, but it gives an idea at any rate.

HA
I like how little the staff often know.
Here's a wikia page dedicated to it, with MASSIVE numbers of sources and is mentioned in every Space Marine book and several IA ones, it's also in the Dawn of War games.
But ultimately, it's basically a regular Dreadnought with a gun + missile launcher.
Cool - means I have a Hellfire Helbrute.

Keep up the good work.
Yep, like trying to get blood from a stone or turn water into wine [/cliche]...
What music did you ask to use, wasn't aware they held any copyright on original music?
The sarcophagus is looking might fine - that skull is the icing on the cake imho, I must admit that I had my doubts initially, but am totally glad to be proven wrong
I think your correct on that. Its a third party who makes it for them.
For audio and such from the games you probably need to contact THQ / Relic for legal stuff.
Or just use it and no one will care. xD

Gamesday is normally August / September? Gamesday was July last year, and there's nothing for GWUK Games Day up on the site. :( They let in people dressed as Space Marines and such, your only real issue will be fitting through doors, and the turnstyles. You'd probably have to take it in in pieces, then reattach everything and put it on once inside.

"The standard ammunition fired is a cased round, comprising a dense metallic core covered in a non-metallic composite sheath with a diamantine tip."
I would assume Ceramite is a big part of it.

plugg wrote:I have been looking on the internet for options for the top centre of the dreadnought. I know there are now 6th edition rules. What options does a Ultramarine dreadnought have in the 6th edition rules? The reason why I ask is because I would like this dreadnought to be correct and what a table top player would be able to field in a game. All hail the emporer Paul Lugg
Relevant to your build, these are the Codex: Space Marines Dreadnought options. Dreadnought & Venerable Dreadnought: Ironclad Dreadnought: As to the images: The first is a Death Company Dreadnought from Codex Blood Angels: The pictured DC Dread has Blood Talons, a Storm Bolter, Meltagun and a Magna Grapple. The second image is a Tzeentch Dread with Twin-Linked Lascannon, Missile Launcher and Smoke Launchers. The Bit on top is a Chaos Smoke Launcher bit. The loyalist version is pictured here: For the third - yes, it's a Searchlight with two lamps. an alternate model to the one below.
