Do twiligth sisters on forest dragon get an armour save and do they use spears?

They get a 6+ for being mounted.

They get a 5+ because they got FAQ'd to have light armour.
And yes they have spears so they use them in close combat.

Yes they are a 5+ save, and use spears. However, you are better off putting a lord on the dragon, and putting him with some warhawk riders for the fast/flying cavalry rules and running around with a much more devastating model for less points.

Wrong, a skink chief on flapasaurus can join units of them.
There might be other exceptions too.

Doesn't have to join just put it with them 1 inch rules still devestating. Idea is to let the dragon get hit over the warhawks, the dragon will survive the hawks won't and turn 2 theres a dragon and a load of hawks behind their entire army in melee with important stuff.

Terradon isn't really a monster. He also joins units of other terradon riders. If you have a "monster" it can join units of its kind generally speaking.

He said any kind not just monsters though, also you are wrong too because a character who is, or is riding, a monster can't join units at all, even if in the future units of monsters exist (unless GW provides an exception rule for that too).

Ya theres an exception with Terradon riders.
