I scored a Durgen Madhammer at my FLGS, so yay for that. On the downside, I'm not really sure where to go from here as far as acquiring 'jacks and other models to go along with him? I've dabbled a bit with the Highborn Covenant (I have several solos, a min. unit of Devil Dogs, and a single Buccaneer) and I plan to use Madhammer in a Highborn list, but beyond that I'm not really sure on specifics.

Anyone have any advice?

I just got him myself, so I may be off base on this. It seems to me Durgen wants to run both a melee and ranged jack, or at least a hybrid in the form of a rockram. Redline and his feat pull his talents in different directions. A basher and avalancher are my first guesses for jacks Durgen might want around.

Beyond the jacks you'll probably want Herne, Jonne, and the ever-impressive Thor Steinehammer to accompany Durgen. A high def unit to make use of primed would also be good.

Thank you for the advice Dais. Anyone have anything else to add?

Grab some Nyss Hunters.

Nothing's funnier(or surprisingly effective) than blowing up an endangered species by casting Primed on them.

Nyss hunters do fill that high def infantry role well. Kayazay assassins seem like they would be good too. Basically anything with def 14+ and bad sculpts
