Hey,
I just tought I'd put my first painted miniatures up here to show you.
I don't have proper lighting yet, so everything is too light, but you can see where I'm going. I tought I'd show you in this forum because it needs some opinions, and ofcourse I haven't done any basing yet, so I don't consider these as finished.
The ork boy with horns is the first 40k miniature I painted. 6-7 years ago I painted a savage ork from my cousin, but I just slapped the paint on apparently, it was horrible.
I also gotta say that I didn't had any 'quality/proper' paint except for the blue used on the orks and csm horns. I used normal acrylic paint destined for canvas :s
I also put up a picture of the moulding line of the ork. At that point I really didn't know I should have taken care of that. On the bloodletters I erased some of them more or less.
The gap between the shooting arm of the orks, or the ass of the bloodletters aren't covered up with greenstuff, didn't know about that either x)
So let me know what you think.
I want to start with a chaos marine army first. Slaanesh themed, with a gray/claret (bordeau?) look, so make sure to comment on that one.
