Rumour has it this will be part of the winter 2012 release. Can anyone confirm this?
(Also, isnt this an ugly model? Reminds me of bulldog from tom and jerry cartoon..,)

Forge World releases are very difficult to "confirm" or "deny", as Forge World/Warhammer Forge plays things very close to their chest.
A winter release would not beyond belief though, but bear in mind that it would be after the New Year.

While they may play things close to their chest, at least we get previews more than a couple days in advance...

Thought I saw this make the rounds a couple months back. Heard it was definitely WIP, and that there was feedback to bulk up the rear section significantly. I haven't read the background on the Destroyer, but I remember being surprised that it looks so substantially different from the Fireborn.

According to the background the destroyer is made by simillar principals of bound fire daemons into iron constructs but there is nothing that specifically ties them together with the fireborn, the artwork in Tamurkhan shows a giant burny bull type thing.

Indeed they are the greatest of these iron bound daemons that are also insanely hard to make. And it would more than likely have sort of bull reference built into it. But until the actual model is released we will have to wait and see I suppose
