Yup, exactly this. I'm puting together my own BA successor army for my return to 40k. Horde armies are where I think i'm going to struggle as well. At least I know I wont be alone.

Rockin thanks a ton for the compliments. Any ways to make the reports better or anything that you would like to see, please let me know. Also. If you want to see certain armies battle it it, throw that at me as well.

Mech lists do have a rough time with horde... Especially MSU lists. Unless you have a ton of ranged shots, it's so so tough bringing down that amount of Orks... Especially with the KFF. I'm working on trying some variations with the horde. I know lootas are amazing... Maybe 45 of them with a few dakkadakka jets would do the trick

Pretty awesome, that elite battle looked like it would have been pretty awesome to be a part of. The orks are looking good, though I will admit I miss the star engine mechdar

Great battle Report

Nice report. I would like to point out a few tid bits for you. Just some constructive criticism.
Vehicles can't tank shock in the same turn that passengers disembark. Page 79 BRB.
Also I am not sure where the terminators deep struck but if it was on that rock area terrain and it was not considered impassable then they would have rolled dangerous terrain and not deep strike miss hap.

Thank you for pointing those things out. A little rusty on some rules. We figured the termite one out after that game and I'm glad that the tank shock/disembark didn't make much of a difference in the outcome.
