I was wondering the size of the sniper rifles that come in the space marine scout box.

I was thinking of using them to make some IG snipers and was checking to see if the size for them would match up or if they would be to large.

Pretty good sized, but not too different in size to the sniper rifles in the cadian/catachan command squads.

So it wouldn't look out of place for them to be in a guards men's hands?

Nah. You'll have some cutting to do though since they have forearms attached to the hands.

The Space Marine scouts arent too much bigger than IG themselves, so with a bit of cutting im sure theyd fit fine.

The Scout Sniper kits also include a sniper rifle with no hands, which you can pick up from bitz sellers pretty cheap.

That was actually my game plan. To get the loose ones from a bits seller.
