So the title pretty much sums it up. I have a Chimera body, but with leman russ tracks and turret on it. What i want to know, is would this be alright to use as such in games ( i know the armour of a chimera is weaker than a russ) But if i reinforce the front of it somehow could this be alright?.
I will post pictures if people are interested.

If you had a Russ turret and sponsons...or something close enough...then I would see no problem with it. As long as it was easy to distinguish it from a typical Chimera,

It has a russ turret. I just had another look at it, its actually a russ chassis with chimera tracks but they have the russ track guards.

The only time you'll get confusion is from an old gamer who remembers the Chiimedon (chimera with a Leman Russ turret and battlecannon), or an anal-retentive gamer not worth your time.
It should look fine. Hell, I've seen Ragnaroks quite commonly used as "russes" and they are built on chimera chassis.

It will be fine. Especially if you are actually using the Russ track units. I used Chimeras as the basis for my russes and they are obviously different. Especially as I shortened the chassis and covered up the firing ports.

Done similar with mine but I pushed the turret back to the centre and mounted it on a modified Razorback ring.
